Companies are aware that the demand for unique bathroom vanities is huge. So, many of them make special limited quantity of a particular style of vanity. These are generally designer vanities that come at a hefty price. If your budget allows you to buy an expensive vanity, then it is recommended that you check options in these vanities out.
Bathroom Vanity Sink Style. One specific feature of a bathroom vanity is the sink. Most vanities have a sink built into the top portion. Each vanity incorporates a sink differently. Some are submerged/sunk into the top of the vanity while others are designed for vessel sinks (sinks that rest on the top surface). Vessel sinks are the newest style of bathroom sink that is quickly becoming popular in homes. These sinks have a more modern look and subsequently are incorporated into modern bathroom vanities. When shopping for a new bathroom vanity, you need to ask yourself what type of sink you want. A very modern vanity might not be able to handle a submerged/sunk in sink.
Cabinet style is also critical. Style sets the overall tone for your bathroom design. Keep in mind that a vanity cabinet that is too large or too tall will make your bathroom feel small, and cramped, however, a vanity that is too small for the space will just look lost, and out-of-place. If choosing a vessel sink, the top of the cabinet needs to be lower than standard in order to allow for the height of the sink bowl to be comfortably accessed. The use of a vessel sink however, does allow for more drawers, and under cabinet storage space. A standard recessed sink limits this available space.
