Camilla. Bathroom Vanity. April 06th , 2018.
A bathroom is one of the most important rooms in the house. And the most important part of your bathroom is your bathroom vanity. A bathroom vanity is a piece of furniture with a number of purposes. Usually you would expect your vanity to house your sink, and all the plumbing that goes with it. Hopefully with all the plumbing nicely housed out of view and out of the way.
Your choices for vanity bathroom vanity cabinet styles are numerous because you can choose a traditional vanity style, typically in wood, like Queen Anne, French Provincial, Oriental or similar. These are ornate with decorative carvings. Contemporary and modern bathroom vanities come in an array of colors and different materials they are popular and allow creativity and uniqueness. Less ornate but no less beautiful these offer clean straight lines for expressing your style. One modern vanity style, the vessel or vessel sink bathroom vanity is really popular. This style has the sink, resembling a bowl on top of the countertop surface.
Vanity sinks: Vanity sinks can come in many different sizes to fit different spaces of vanities. Choosing bathroom vanities is mainly based on the space available in the bathroom, since maximizing the space and adding storage is also essential. Bathroom vanities that can double up as drawers with tons of storage in the bathroom are quickly becoming famous because of their efficiency and modern feel. Marble sinks and china sinks go very well with the vanities, and are mounted on top of them, just like pedestals. Small bathroom vanities can be mounted on the wall and larger vanities suit the luxury bathroom models to give it a spa-like feel. Several bathroom vanities come with different counter tops with the sink attachments. Granite countertop to match the granite sink is a popular choice in designing bathrooms that are modern, yet quaint.
Cabinet style is also critical. Style sets the overall tone for your bathroom design. Keep in mind that a vanity cabinet that is too large or too tall will make your bathroom feel small, and cramped, however, a vanity that is too small for the space will just look lost, and out-of-place. If choosing a vessel sink, the top of the cabinet needs to be lower than standard in order to allow for the height of the sink bowl to be comfortably accessed. The use of a vessel sink however, does allow for more drawers, and under cabinet storage space. A standard recessed sink limits this available space.
